NAAPS Cymru Consultation August 2008

NAAPS Cymru has lobbied for changes to the current regulations for Adult Placement Schemes in Wales. Following a Welsh Assembly Government review during 2006/07 Gwenda Thomas, the Deputy Minister for Social Services in Wales, had agreed that a consultation should be undertaken on certain aspects of the regulations. This process has now begun and will continue until 20th November 2008 by which date all views and comments will have to be submitted to the Assembly Government. Details of the consultation along with the initial NAAPS Cymru briefing are attached
